Donors expect a personalized thank-you email — not a generic WooCommerce order confirmation. A branded donation receipt builds trust, reinforces the emotional connection, and provides documentation for tax purposes.
Why a dedicated email system?
WooCommerce's default "order completed" email talks about products, shipping, and orders. Donors don't think in those terms — they gave to a cause. Donaiser replaces the generic email with a branded donation receipt that speaks their language.
The receipt email can optionally suppress WooCommerce's default completion email, so donors don't receive confusing duplicate messages.
How it works
Donaiser registers a custom WooCommerce email class that triggers when a donation order is completed. It only fires for orders flagged as donations — your regular WooCommerce products still get standard emails.
Customize the subject, heading, and template. The email supports both HTML and plain text, and if PDF Receipts (Pro) is enabled, the PDF is automatically attached.

Where to configure
Donaiser > Settings for Donaiser-specific options, or WooCommerce > Settings > Emails > Donation Receipt for standard WC settings.
Theme overrides
Email templates can be overridden by your theme via the standard WooCommerce template override system.
